Making up History

My big brother Joey had his high school basketball Jersey retired on January 10th, 2014. Our coach had told me he was frustrated that he had not kept Joey's jersey aside when he gave the old ones to the community center across the street from MLK some years back. So I decided to make a piece of art that closely resembled Joey's #44 and give it to him. I used pictures from the scrapbook my Mom made for me.
Coach Shelton didn't know I was making it and had another Jersey put in a frame for the trophy case but used mine during the ceremony on Friday. He told me in an email today(January 13th) that he planned to put both in the trophy case at MLK. To see the jersey in it's frame check out this site by Nashville Photographer Mike Strasinger
